Netomnia are investing in and building a new full-fibre network right across the UK future-proofing homes and businesses with a reliable, high-quality, and high-speed internet connection.
Map Group has been key within this project to deliver Network installation, including civils and cabling. The total number of engineers deployed on-site by Map Group to date is now over 100+ and increasing weekly. We have expanded with this client into multiple towns within the North East which includes Peterlee, Durham, and Spennymoor with more towns going into build in the not too distant future. Map Group has delivered tens of thousands of homes to specification, on time, and within budget.

Openreach is made up of four divisions – service delivery, fibre and network delivery, strategic infrastructure development, and headquarters. They tackle complicated engineering problems – from coordinating works with councils, highways agencies, energy suppliers and landowners, to installing and maintaining the complex kit that provides fibre broadband services.

Openreach engage MAP Group to provide survey/installation services for overhead and underground PON networks. There are currently 30 engineers currently deployed carrying out full end-to-end PON build activities.

The ongoing success of the project includes the assistance provided to Openreach and third party works to underpin quarterly targets. This includes continued delivery of volume to meet quarterly (THP target).
